Important Notice for Consumers Regarding Debt Collection

This law firm is a debt collector. Any information obtained will be used for the purpose of collecting a debt. This communication is from a debt collector.

Your Right to Dispute a Debt

You have the right to dispute the validity of any debt we are attempting to collect. If you notify us in writing within thirty (30) days after you receive our initial validation notice that the debt, or any portion of the debt, is disputed, we will cease collection of the debt or the disputed portion until we obtain verification of the debt or a copy of a judgment and mail it to you.

How to Submit a Dispute:
You may dispute a debt by:

1. Sending written notice by mail: Mail your dispute in writing to the following address:

2. Sending written notice electronically: Email your dispute to morgan@leblawyers.com.
   Your dispute must be submitted within thirty (30) days of your receipt of the validation notice to invoke the protections described above. If you submit a dispute after the thirty-day validation period has ended, we are not required to cease collection while we investigate, but we will respond to your dispute in accordance with applicable law.

What Happens After You Dispute:
If you submit a timely dispute, we will:

1. Cease collection of the debt or the disputed portion until we send you verification of the debt or a copy of a judgment; and
2. Obtain verification of the debt or a copy of a judgment and mail it to you.
3. Lubin, Enoch & Bustamante, P.C. does not report to any credit bureau.

Your failure to dispute a debt does not constitute an admission of liability.

Request for Original Creditor Information
You have the right to request the name and address of the original creditor, if different from the current creditor to whom the debt is owed. If you make this request in writing within thirty (30) days of receiving our validation notice, we will cease collection until we provide you with the name and address of the original creditor.

NOTICE: The online payment portal accessible through this website is exclusively for use by clients of this law firm. It is NOT available for consumer or debtor payments.
If you are a consumer and are seeking to make a payment on a debt we are attempting to collect, do not use the online payment portal. Using the client payment portal for debt payments may result in processing fees and delays.

To Make a Payment on a Debt:
If you wish to make a payment on a debt we are collecting, please contact our office directly using the contact information provided in the validation notice or other written communication we have sent to you. Our staff will provide you with authorized payment methods and instructions specific to your account.
Payments submitted through unauthorized channels, including the client payment portal, may not be properly credited to your account and may be returned.
