Jacob Martinez is an associate at Lubin, Enoch & Bustamante, where he represents employees and unions in workplace and labor disputes.
Jacob earned his Juris Doctor from the Sandra Day O'Connor College of Law at Arizona State University. During law school, he served as President of the Chicano Latino Law Student Association, President of the Moot Court Executive Board, and as a Managing Editor of the Corporate and Business Law Journal. He graduated with numerous honors, including the Paul W. Holloway Trial Advocacy Award, Order of the Barristers, and the Highest Pro Bono Distinction.
Before joining the firm, Jacob gained experience across a broad range of legal settings. He worked in the Arizona Attorney General's Solicitor General office, and later with the Mesa Prosecutor's Office, where he conducted approximately forty bench trials. He also completed a judicial externship at the Arizona Court of Appeals with the Honorable Chief Judge David Gass. During his final year in law school, he represented clients through ASU's Immigration Clinic.
A lifelong Mesa resident, Jacob has dedicated much of his career to public service. He currently serves as the Vice Chair of the Mesa Public Schools Planning and Boundaries Committee.
Outside of the law, Jacob proudly serves as a Petty Officer Second Class in the United States Navy Reserve.
