CRISTINA GALLARDO SANI DAD

A California native, Cristina Gallardo-Sanidad settled in Phoenix in 2008 to work at the Arizona Interfaith Alliance for Worker Justice, a non-profit Worker Rights Center, where she most recently served as a co-director. She graduated summa cum laude from Santa Clara University with Bachelors degrees in Sociology and Comparative Ethnic Studies and from Arizona State University’s Social Justice and Human Rights Master’s Program. She has published articles and book chapters focused on wage theft, Mexican immigrant workers in Arizona, and U.S./Mexico cross-border organizing in the Latino/Latina Studies Journal and with the University of Arizona, New York University Press, and ABC-CLIO. Her most recent book chapter, in “Mexican Workers and the Making of Arizona“, incorporates her interviews from construction workers at the Worker Rights Center.
Cristina joined Lubin, Enoch & Bustamante PC in January 2013 as a paralegal, and her primary responsibilities include document management and preparation, legal research and analysis, client support, and filing court documents. She completed a certificate in Legal Studies in the summer of 2015.

One of Cristina’s most rewarding and challenging experiences was being a foster parent (along with her husband, Emmanuel) from 2019 until 2021, when they adopted their daughter. They are now raising three beautiful kiddos: Serenity (2017), Frankie (2019) and Felicity (2024)!
